Crooked Stick Golf Club is a golf club in Carmel, Indiana, a northern suburb of Indianapolis. The Pete and Alice Dye-designed 18-hole golf course opened in 1964. Golfweek and Golf Magazine, two of golf’s most popular magazines, have named it one of the top 100 courses in the United States.
Crooked Stick hosted the PGA Championship in 1991, which was won by John Daly, and the US Women’s Open in 1993, which was won by Lauri Merten. In 2005, it also hosted the Solheim Cup matches.
