Dedicated to those who fight to protect our liberties. Memorials for WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm are set among war-torn landscapes and are linked by a memorial brick pathway and history trail. This lovely 6.5-acre memorial serves as a place of reflection and education. A fact-filled pathway guides visitors through the park on a historical journey. Admission is free. Today, dedicate a brick to a veteran!

Community Veterans Memorial is located 2.4 miles south of I-80/94 at 9710 Calumet Ave. The 6.5-acre park includes life-size bronze statues and five memorial sites to the major wars of the twentieth century, with landscapes resembling war-torn lands. The monuments are linked by fact-filled pathways that serve as a historical timeline. A Huey helicopter, a replica of a P-51 Mustang fighter plane, and personal items such as boots, guns, and letters from home are among the items on display.
